He will hold the field against all challengers with sword and shield, long sword and single sword.
Please bring a plate to share for high tea after the emprise.

$5 non membersSTEWARD Aoife of St Basil's Again we shall observe the tradition of the Collegians of Aneala testing the results of their scholarly pursuits against the rest of the Barony in a display of armoured combat, rapier and cookery prowess. But this year there is also the newly established College of St Lazarus to contend with. Will the two Colleges see eye to eye and combine their powers? Or will the scholars of St Basils see a rival in these new men of letters.
Heavy combat: war scenario, the College against the Barony
Rapier: Pub brawl, the last person still standing with the most ale remaining in their tankard wins.
Cookery: best pot-luck on a budget of $15.
Remember to wear your silly orange hat.
Highland Gathering Demo
DATE Saturday, November 21, 2009 TIME From 9am PLACE Mirrawarra Park, Armidale COST nil STEWARD Sir Kane Greymane This is an opportunity to promote the SCA in our largest demographic catchment. There should be a lot of people looking to find out about their past. This is more like the Balingup Carnival for us as it is people interested in a specific theme and not just out for a bit of fun. We need Armoured Combatants, Renaissance Fencers, Dancers and A&S practitioners to show off their skills.
St Sebastion Archery Shoot
DATE Sunday, November 22, 2009 TIME Set up from 9am PLACE Wandi Community Oval COST $5 Members / $7 Day Members / $2 Minors STEWARD Alianore de Essewell In honour of St Sebastion, Patron Saint of Archers I welcome all to the final IKAC shoot of the season. This day will see the Archers of Lochacs' West rewarded for their year long efforts in supporting our great Kingdom in the Inter Kingdom Archery Competition.
The day will begin with a Round Robin shoot with a shortened range of 10, 15, 20 yards for up and coming Archers.
If you're young or just starting out or not yet comfortable on the longer distances, this is your shoot.
There will also be Robin Hood Archery for our younger members in the form of an animal shoot. This will go on during the IKAC
[Please register your childs interest as their will be a gift for each one, a felt robin hood hat with feather.]
The IKAC will be declared after Lunch and will follow standard IKAC rules. [ie wood arrows, with feathered fletches]
A prize will be awarded to the IKAC year high scorers in both open and youth.
Please bring a plate for the pot luck table
